Businesses:

From Alliance for the Arts:

"Like our southwest Florida friends, the Alliance for the Arts continues to diligently monitor the path of Hurricane Irma. We are preparing for possible severe weather conditions, currently anticipated to begin late Friday and to remain in effect throughout this weekend.

In preparation for Irma, we have decided to close the Alliance offices Friday, Sept 8th through Monday, Sept 11th. All programming including SoCo Second Saturday, the GreenMarket, youth theatre rehearsals, classes and the Fired Up exhibit will be postponed or canceled. We will update you as soon as we know more."

From
Edison & Ford Winter Estates:

"In preparation for Hurricane Irma, Edison Ford will be closed September 7 - 11. The homes and other buildings have been prepared for the potential storm threat.

Visitors should call 239-334-7419 and speak with a staff person prior to planning their visit."

From Bell Tower Shops:

"The BTS management team continues to monitor the progress of Hurricane Irma. The center will most likely be closed from Friday 9/8 thru Sunday 9/10. The exact closure date and time will be confirmed tomorrow once the hurricane path of travel is better identified."

From Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce:

"Due to Hurricane Irma the September WIB event today at IBERIABANK has been rescheduled to Wednesday, November 1st."

From World of Beer Bell Tower:

"We are open today! Drink good beer and stay safe out there!"

From the North Fort Myers Library:

"The planned move of the North Fort Myers Library to its temporary location has been rescheduled from Sept. 9, 10 and 11 to Sept. 23, 24 and 25 due to the approach of Hurricane Irma and the uncertainty of its path." Learn more here.
