I love sunsets. I especially love the sunset while standing on the beach with a nice beverage in hand and live music playing in the background. Lucky for us there are some great beach bars located right on Fort Myers Beach that provides the perfect setting for drinks, music and a sunset:

Junkanoo

Enjoy open air or covered seating on the beach over looking the Gulf of Mexico. THe menu offers something for everyone from seafood to pizza. 

The Cottage 

A favorite Fort Myers Beach restaurant and bar for years, you will get a panoramic view of the Gulf while seated at this fun bar. Live music nightly and their kitchen even stays open until 1am, so you can try their famous beach bread before you head home for the night.

The Salty Crab Bar & Grill

Walk in right off the beach for some good quick food and enjoy the live music while sipping on one of their signature cocktails. 

The Playmore Tiki Bar

There is a lot of history here, being the first and only public place for adults to socialize on Ft. Myers Beach when it opened in the 1950's. The specialty drink menu is great and live music is never disappointing as you watch the sunset behind the pier.
