Come check out the future artists of our community at The Future of Art: Student Exhibit on display now at the Alliance for the Arts on McGregor Blvd in Fort Myers, Florida!

This 29-year tradition has been something that locals look forward to each year. The event attracts people of all ages that come to enjoy, appreciate, and marvel at the talent in our youth.

On display is student’s work in a variety of mediums, ranging from elementary to middle to high school students. The Alliance partners with LAEA - Lee Arts Educators Association - to bring this talented show to life.

Elementary and Middle School Exhibit was on display from April 2-10, with their virtual opening reception on April 5. High School Exhibition will begin on April 16 and last until April 30. The High School virtual opening reception will take place on Friday, April 16 on their Youtube channel. Be sure to RSVP to the virtual opening reception, as a reservation is required.

As with each year, winners in the High School Exhibition will be selected from many categories. Among these include painting, drawing, mixed media, and more. In addition, a two-year art major scholarship to Florida Southwestern State College will be awarded to Best in Show.

The High School Exhibit is sponsored by the Florida SouthWestern State College and Pediatric Dentistry of Florida.

Although admission to the galleries is free every day, be sure to donate to help support your local artists and help keep the Alliance running these beautiful exhibits and programs each year!
