Pamela Knight, co-owner of Studio RK, explains the growth she has seen since the company began. “We all started as associates in training, front desk team members, or nail technicians and began purchasing the salon company in 2005. The company originally started over 20 years ago as a small 6-station salon. We have grown the business to where it is today with almost 60 employees. We have an ownership team consisting of myself and my two partners since 2005 and, in 2016, we added 4 more partners to the shareholding/ownership team.”

Studio RK is known for its amazing customer service, top-notch expertise, and down-to-earth feel.  Ensuring their technicians are up-to-date in the latest hair innovations is incredibly important to the owners. “We have a strong belief in continued education and development. We provide at least 12 trainings per year to keep on-trend and to continually grow our technical skills. We are a true team.  We help each other out when needed. We grow from within. We have a team of salon coaches who work with our new associates and teach them during their 10-12 hour training program.”

The everyday interactions with their clients are what keep them loving every minute of their careers. The technicians love working with each other at Studio RK and each member is a part of their family. This familial vibe is sure to catch you as soon as you walk through the door.

Not only does Studio RK serve its clients, but it serves its community, as well. Pam explains, “We do something that’s called monthly giving where a team member will share a story about someone that is in need of some help. The team will all donate and the salon company will match the donation.”
